It's your thoughts, not you.


We always reach a point where we just want to stop thinking. It can go for many reasons, maybe it is negative and may destroy you or is it something you don't want, you try your best to resist thinking. Our mind is the house of thoughts. Here, we have the bad uncle and the good aunt, the boastful kid and the wise old man, the so in-love teenager or maybe just a trying to get the shit done human being. But at most times, whatsoever may the thought be-we categorize them into good and bad, the important or the unwanted.

What are bad thoughts? In simple words, thoughts you are not proud of. Now, What happens when you try to stop the river against its current? It gets harder and harder, the force reaches to a point where you will no longer be able to resist it from flowing. This is exactly how the house of thoughts work, here we have to let everyone in, only then will they have a good disco night together. Don't be ashamed of them. Let them flow, accept and let them dance to your heartbeat because at the end, they are YOUR THOUGHTS, NOT YOU. :)

Another way to put it together- YOU can always control YOUR THOUGHTS. It is your skin, not you. It is your body, not you. It is YOUR MIND, NOT YOU. So, WHO ARE YOU?
